    BBH presenst ‘Five Wishes’

    Posted on September 27, 2019

On Monday, Sept. 23, Big Bend Hospice, Faith Outreach Director Candace McKibben presented Five Wishes at the Taylor County Senior Center.

The Five Wishes document gives you a way to control something very important – how you are treated if you get seriously ill.

Five Wishes is the first living will that talks about your personal, emotional and spiritual needs as well as your medical wishes.

By completing the Five Wishes document, your family members will not have to guess what you want.

It protects them if you become seriously ill, because they won’t have to make hard choices without knowing your wishes.

The Five Wishes document is one of the greatest gifts you can give those who care about you. If you would like Five Wishes documents for yourself or your organization or are interested in scheduling a Five Wishes presentation at your civic organization, church, place of employment or any other group, contact Kate Davis, Taylor County Professional Relations Liaison, by calling (850) 878-5310 or emailing cldavis@bigbendhospice.org.
