Trout data ‘mistake’

As the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) once again considers adopting stricter spotted seatrout regulations, opposition to those changes from local anglers and charter captains has remained steady each step of the way.

In addition to raising concerns over the possible economic impact the proposed changes could have on not only those in the fishing industry, but the community as a whole, some have questioned the data FWC officials are using to justify the more stringent regulations.
