The City of Perry’s 2019- 20 budget wrangling ended not with a bang, but rather with a moment of silence as no one from the public attended the final hearing Tuesday – and the council voted unanimously to adopt a budget that raised property taxes and utility rates across the board.
City residents, businesses and utility customers can expect to see an estimated $90 increase in their annual bills, beginning in October.
