Review: Witty ‘Warm Bodies’ proves even zombies need romance

“Warm Bodies” walks the line between cute and absurd, managing to find just the right balance of wry wittiness and sweet romance while playing with the usual zombie tropes. Zombie purists will probably howl, but unlike the sparkling vampires of the “Twilight” series, “Warm Bodies” has enough self-awareness to know just how far to push the boundary without destroying what you’re trying to have fun with.

The movie is rated PG-13 for zombie violence and some language.
