TCPS, TCES exceed goals

Taylor County Primary School (TCPS) and Taylor County Elementary School (TCES) not only earned a “B” grade for the first time in five years, but also exceeded their goal by increasing their overall school grade by 87 points last year, administrators told school board members at a recent meeting.

TCES earned a “B” school grade in 2019 by scoring 404 of the total possible 700 points (58%), compared to last year’s “C” grade for scoring 317 out of 700 (45% of the possible points) in 2018.
