Bruce Philip Guay, 78, of Perry Florida passed away suddenly on September 29, 2019, in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Bruce was born May 13, 1941, in Malone, N.Y., to Louis Philip Guay and Wanda Roberts. He was raised by his mother Wanda Roberts and his stepfather Erich Rotzal of Bridgeport, Conn.

He worked as a welder, steel fabricator, construction project manager and field supervisor for more than 57 years in the state of Connecticut.

He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Bruce is survived by his wife Barbara Mary Guay of 47 years, sons, Timothy Blakeman, Pierce Guay, Hunter Guay, daughter in-law Amy Guay, grandchildren, Abby Blakeman, Chloe Blakeman, Brendan Guay, Sierra Guay and brother Gary Guay.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1566 W. Julia Street in Perry.
