Quinn, McMahon catch largest red, trout in CPR event

The Gulf Coast Kayak Club CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) Fishing Tournament was held two weekends ago in Taylor County with over $2,500 in cash and prizes awarded to the anglers who caught the top three redfish and trout.

Gene McMahon bagged the largest trout measuring 25-3/4 inches long for $750 while Robert Ellis landed a 24-1/4-inch trout for second place and $250. James Otte was one inch shy with a 23- 1/4-inch trout, which won third place and $100.
