Taylor County hosted its biggest party of the year — the Florida Forest Festival — Saturday, Oct. 26, and once again, it did not disappoint.
From smiling beauty queens to marching bands, the King Tree Parade delivered on its promise of amazing sights and sounds.
The fun continued at Forest Capital Park where thousands lined up for fried fish and all the trimmings at the “World’s Largest Free Fish Fry.” Lumberjacks (and one Lumberjill) thrilled audiences with their axethrowing and log-rolling antics.
