    Posted on November 1, 2019

County Road Department workers were busy helping clear the scene of a two-semi collision that spilled a load of rock at the intersection of Hwy. 27 East and CR-30 (Foley Road) on Wednesday morning.

The driver of a semi truck loaded with rock was charged with “failure to use due care” after crashing into a log truck and spilling a load of rock at the intersection of Hwy. 27 and CR 30 (Foley Road) Wednesday morning.

Manuel Wenceslao Amparo, 56, of Tallahassee was temporarily trapped inside the cab of his 1999 Mack semi following the crash and later transported to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) with minor injuries.
