Ida-Lou Stephens

On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Ida-Lou Stephens went to be with the Lord.

Ida-Lou “Sister” (Hudson) was born on April 15, 1940.

Ida-Lou was a 1958 graduate of Salem High School where she played on the women’s basketball team.

She worked in the real estate/construction industry and retired from Coppenbarger homes in Jacksonville.

Ida-Lou was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by: her husband TJ Stephens, children Michelle (Sean) Hollis, stepchildren Tommy (deceased) (Donna) Stephens, Joanne (Brian) Wilson, Troy (Jill) Stephens, brothers Kenneth “Scooter” (Joyce) Hudson, Brun Matthew (Connie) Hudson, Danny (Wanda) Hudson, sister-in-laws Videll (Jim) Constantino, Loiselle (Jim, deceased) Tucker, Irene (deceased) (Al) Tkacsik, grandchildren Bailee Hollis, Jakob Hollis, stepgrandchildren Brittany Wilsey, Justin Stephens, Trent Stephens, & Austin Stephens.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 10 a.m. at Salem Baptist Purity Church in Salem.

Services will be held afterward at 11 a.m. with a graveside service at Woodyard Cemetery immediately after.
