Veterans honored

The memorial flag for Robert “Toby” Hunter Jr. was raised over Veterans Memorial Park Monday during a flag-changing ceremony held in conjunction with Veterans Day.

Hunter’s younger brother, Larry Hunter (in uniform), presented the flag to JROTC cadets presiding over the ceremony. R.V. Hunter’s memorial flag was lowered during the event, and presented to his oldest great-grandson, Kalob Hunter (center).
