Joyce Ann Thomas Hill

Mrs. Joyce Ann Thomas Hill, age 77, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2019, at her home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., November 16, 2019, at Beggs Funeral Home in Perry with burial at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5– 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Joyce was of the Christian faith having attended Perry First Church of God and San Pedro Baptist. She worked at Tom’s Food for 20 years. She was a die-hard Seminole fan, and loved watching NASCAR racing, going to Gospel Sings and was a doll collector for many years.

She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years: Leonard Cecil Hill; her parents: Clarence Kash Thomas of Perry and Hester Mae King of Ohio; brothers: Clarence M. Thomas and Robert Thomas; sisters: Nancy Wood, Carol Jean Darland and Cennie Mann Klopher.

She is survived by two sons: C. L. Hill (Sharnette) and Stuart Hill; two daughters: Melissa Grimes (Jim) and Jamie Soderstrom (Wayne); nine grandchildren: Jim Grimes III, Randy Grimes, Andrew Grimes, Eithan Hill, Sayrie Hill, Ashley Hill, Peighton Hill, Sabrina Russell (T. J.), Destiny Soderstrom and Courtney Allen; seven great-grandchildren: Skyler Russell, Tate Russell, Azriel Ward, Alex Hornsby, Danielle Clark, Brandon Ward, Eli Ward; and a host of nieces and nephews from Florida, Ohio, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Donations may be made to San Pedro Church or Big Bend Hospice of Taylor County.
