Shop downtown Perry this holiday season and win!

The Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce is launching a holiday “Shop the Blocks” campaign this year.

“We are asking everyone who shops downtown to stop by the Chamber of Commerce with their receipts during the month of November through Friday, Dec. 6. When you do, you will be entered into a drawing for a Christmas stocking to be given away at the Downtown Christmas Open House and Christmas Parade planned Friday, Dec. 6. Each receipt qualifies for an entry into the drawing,” Chamber Director Dawn Perez said.

“Not only will this benefit local downtown businesses and provide additional incentives for people to shop locally, it will give someone a reward for doing so. Plus, the chamber will be able to use the information about local spending and sales tax revenue and distribute those amazing numbers to the local news, who could then report on the benefits to the economy.”
