County employees to get bonuses worth $325,000

Although the Taylor County Commission’s 2019-20 budget did not include raises for county workers, the board agreed Tuesday morning to spend more than $325,000 to give employees one-time incentives.

Under the proposal approved by the board, full-time county employees (including those working for constitutional officers) will each receive $1,000. Part-time employees will receive $500, and current seasonal employees will receive $100.
