Claudine Edna Jackson

Claudine Edna Jackson, 73, passed away on November 17, 2019, in Perry. Claudine was born February 27, 1946, in Carrabelle, Fla., to Thomas Bratcher and Elsie Stokes Bratcher.

Mrs. Jackson was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Claudine was a homemaker, who enjoyed growing flowers and taking care of her dogs.

Claudine was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Elsie Bratcher.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of five years, Jimmy Jackson; her children, Edwin McMullen (Linda), James Moore (Rosie), Sharlene Sturdivant (Stanley), and Ileen Robnett (Dale); her brothers, Paxto Bratcher and Phil Bratcher; a sister, Joann Hathcock; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Ray Dunham officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
