Need a school bus? District disposing of 11

The Taylor County School Board voted to declare several old buses and portable classrooms as “surplus property” so they could be disposed of during their recent Nov. 5 meeting.

At the request of Transportation Coordinator Wendy Slaughter, the board voted 5-0 in favor of disposing of 11 school buses, including eight that no longer function.
