    Time Traveler

    Tallahassee Museum educator Judy Stricklin’s presentation on pioneer life brought back a lot of memories, Taylor County Historical Society member Robert Sadousky said. “It reminded me of my days spent on my grandfather’s farm.” Above, Sadousky shows Stricklin a photo of his grandfather “Boss” Faulkner.     Standing just over five feet tall, white hair tucked behind her ears and cozy shawl draped across her shoulders, Judy Stricklin is an unlikely looking time traveler.

    Yet, every Saturday she crosses the threshold into a kitchen that dates back to 1880 and is immediately transported 140 years into the past.
