Nammo purchases Chemring

Arizona-based Nammo Defense Systems Inc. has entered into an agreement with Chemring Group, PLC to purchase the local Chemring Ordnance facility in Perry for a cash consideration of $17 million, according to a pair of announcements released Thursday.

“Nammo has agreed with Chemring to acquire one of its U.S. subsidiaries, Chemring Ordnance, based in Perry, Florida. The acquisition will strengthen Nammo’s U.S. manufacturing capabilities and boost its number of U.S. employees to 800, more than in any of the company’s nine other manufacturing countries,” Nammo announced on their website.
