Long-time local extension agent Lori Wiggins is the new full-time director of the Taylor County Extension Office, a position she has held on an interim basis for more than a year.
Wiggins assumed the role of interim director after the retirement of former Extension Agent Clay Olson. Since that time, the University of Florida, who oversees Florida’s extension programs, has had a hiring freeze, delaying the hiring of a full-time director.
