Deborah
Ann “Debi” Walker, 57, passed away on December 4, 2019, in Tallahassee. Debi
was born January 20, 1962, in Blakely, Ga., to Lonnie Oliver and Janice Smith
Oliver.
Debi was of the
Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church. Debi worked as a Health
Support Aid in the clinic at Taylor County High School for several years and
also at Beall’s for many years. Debi loved to be on the Suwanee River, and she
was an avid Gator fan. The things most dear to her were her family, spending
time with her daughter and son-in-law and loving on her grandbabies.
Debi was
preceded in death by her father Lonnie Oliver, her daughter Erin Lawless, and
her grandmother Lottie “Big Mama” Oliver.
Debi is survived
by her husband of 34 years, Keith Walker; her daughter Abbi Gibson and her
husband Guy II; her mother Janice Oliver; a sister Johnna Cone and a brother
Lonnie “Lon” Oliver, Jr.; her grandchildren Landon, Bailee, and Georgia; as
well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
Funeral Services
will be held on December 7, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with
Pastor Ben Kimmel and Pastor David Stephens officiating. Interment services
will follow immediately afterwards in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. All
arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
