Citrus farmer Andy Jackson is helping the Taylor County Historical Society revive a once long-standing tradition of Santa Claus handing out oranges to all good little girls and boys.
Jackson has donated a sleigh-load of locally-grown citrus for Santa to give away tonight (Friday) during the annual Downtown Christmas Open House. Also lending a hand to Old St. Nick is Big Bend Marine, which is donating a boat for Santa to ride in as he leads the Christmas parade that starts at 6 p.m.
