Padgett to seek second term as sheriff

Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett will run for re-election in 2020, seeking a second term in office.

Padgett, who is running once again as a Republican, is the 16th local candidate to file to run for elected office next year, and the second candidate to enter the race for sheriff.
