Toll road meeting here Dec. 17

Those wishing to speak out on the proposed Suncoast Parkway toll road extension — which is expected to pass through Taylor County on its way north toward Georgia — won’t have to drive far to attend the next task force meeting, which will be held in Taylor County next week.

The third meeting of the Suncoast Corridor Task Force will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Forest Capital Hall on U.S. 19. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m., with doors opening for registration at 8 a.m. There will be a lunch break at noon.
