School Board Member Deidra Dunnell expressed her displeasure with several new policies and procedures adopted during the school board’s recent annual re-organization, alleging changes are “racially motivated” and an attempt to “silence” her.
At the school board’s most recent Dec. 10 meeting, Dunnell voiced objections to the board refusing to change its meeting time to 6 p.m. to accommodate her new work schedule, as well as refusing to support her desire to serve as chair or vice-chair.
