Foyce (Cruce) Posey

Foyce (Cruce) Posey, 92, was born on Dec. 3, 1927, and passed on Dec. 9, 2019, in Jacksonville.

She was the oldest daughter of Cary and Lessie (Houck) Cruce of Perry.

Foyce lived her entire life as a truly caring and giving person who loved the Lord and her family.

She adored her two children, and they were the center of her life, along with her four grandchildren of whom she was most proud. As the oldest of five children, growing up, she cared for her siblings and was also there to help many friends who needed assistance.

She was preceded in death by her husband S. J. Posey in 1984, her brothers Rudolph (Jim) and Willie Joe Cruce and a sister Treva Harper.

Foyce is survived by her two loving children, Sandra Beck and Stanley Posey, her four cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Tyler and Caleb, and her dear sister, Merle Webster, all of Jacksonville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.
