    City Manager earns favorable reviews during first evaluation

    The Perry City Council as a whole gave City Manager Taylor Brown high marks for his community involvement and his professionalism in dealing with council members, staff and the public.

    City Manager Taylor Brown, who recently marked his one-year anniversary with the city, received favorable reviews from all five council members on his first performance evaluation.

    Members utilized a streamlined evaluation form that ranked efficiencies on a numbering system from six (outstanding) to zero (unsatisfactory), and allowed for personal comments in the following areas: management of organization, execution of policy, financial management, relations with the council, community relations, communications, leadership and professionalism.
