Toll road needs, concerns voiced

Although it is still unclear exactly where the proposed Suncoast Parkway extension will be constructed, many local government representatives from counties that will be impacted by the toll road got the opportunity to voice their perceived needs and concerns during an all-day task force meeting held in Perry on Tuesday.

The Suncoast Connector Task Force, which consists of 41 members, held its third meeting at Forest Capital Hall in Perry, alternating between listening to presentations from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its private sector partners, and holding discussion sessions amongst themselves.
