Full-time paid fire protection now in place at the Beaches

The Taylor County Beaches area received an early holiday gift this year in the form of full-time paid fire protection services, thanks to an increase in Taylor County Fire-Rescue personnel approved by the county commission this fall.

Since the beginning of December, the Keaton Beach fire station has had one paid 24/7 firefighter position on site, consisting of three fire fighters working on shifts.
