Drivers in Florida who are texting while driving can now expect a ticket when caught and pulled over by law enforcement.
Although the law that made texting while driving a primary offense went into effect July 1, many law enforcement agencies established a grace period during which officers had the option to deliver warnings rather than tickets through Dec. 31.
