Bridge dedication is Jan. 7

The Taylor County Board of Commissioners will host a bridge dedication ceremony in honor of Korean War POW SSGT Edward “Ed” Sheffield Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Econfina River Bridge on U.S. Highway 98 West.

Under a resolution adopted by the county and approved by the Florida Legislature, the bridge will be designated as the “SSGT Edward C. Sheffield Memorial Bridge.”
