Mr. Frank David Doyle Jr., 67, passed away on December 29, 2019, in Gainesville. Frank was born September 22, 1952, in Jacksonville to Frank Doyle Sr. and Doris Powell Doyle.
Frank honorably served our country in theUnited States Navy Reserve. Frank was of the Christian faith. He worked for the Dept. of Defense at NAS Jax for about 25 years working up to Work Training Leader.
Frank was a member of NHRA and built and raced his own car.
He was also a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Melrose Lodge of Melrose, Fla.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Doris Doyle, a son Frank Doyle III and a daughter Angela Lynne Doyle.
He is survived by his son Timothy Phillip Doyle, daughters Kristina Lynne Doyle and Lyndsay Nicole Doyle, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, the mother of his children Marlene Baumgardner, two sisters Hazel Crowley and Helen Geller, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held on today (Wednesday, January 8) at 2 p.m. at Pineview Memorial Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
