Southerland, Wiggins declare to run

The new year brought two new local candidates filing to run in the 2020 election cycle, as two incumbents – Taylor County Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland and Tax Collector Mark Wiggins – both announced they would seek a fourth term in office.

They bring the total number of local candidates running for county or city seats this year to 18.
