Man arrested in Salem ax attack

A 56-year-old Salem man was arrested Friday, Jan. 17, and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly threatening a woman with an ax and bashing her car windshield during a roadside incident last Tuesday.

George Drawdy was also charged with a weapon offense (for throwing the ax) and criminal mischief (damaging property).
