Roadside fire

A construction crew headed to a work site on U.S. 19 South made an unscheduled stop Thursday morning when the crew supervisor’s truck caught fire. The blaze quickly consumed the front cab.

Responding firefighters doused the flames with a special foam designed to extinguish vehicle fires. No one was injured in the incident.
