    Taylor school district lobbying Florida legislature to support 2 proposed bills

    The Taylor County School District is currently lobbying for two legislative bills that local officials say could positively impact the district.

    Senate Bill 434, sponsored by Senator Bill Montford, includes language that will include career dual enrollment, which is when a high school student enrolls in a technical college career and technical education (CTE) certificate program for a minimum of 300 hours, as part of the school grade calculation.
