Artist Bill Holkham spoke at the Taylor County Public Library Monday, presenting examples of his watercolor works while pointing out techniques he used to create specific effects in his paintings.
Holkham, who is originally from England, showed paintings of his native country as well as those from Scotland and Europe, in addition to local scenes, including Hagens Cove and the Econfina River. The Friends of the Library, which sponsored the talk, held drawings for two signed prints donated by Holkham.
