Albury named state forester

Former Taylor County resident and local Forest Service District Manager Erin Albury credits the seven years he worked in the role of Perry District Manager as a major stepping stone on his journey to being appointed Florida’s State Forester last week.

Commissioner Nicole “Nikki” Fried announced Albury’s appointment as Director of the Florida Forest Service (FFS) on Friday.
