Gunter withdraws from race

Former City of Perry Mayor and County Commissioner Daryll Gunter has withdrawn from the 2020 Superintendent of Schools race, citing the fact that he and his family will be moving to Tallahassee.

In a Jan. 31 letter, Gunter thanked Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland for taking the time to go over the requirements for running for office with him.
