City hears requests to abandon alleys

The Perry City Council has opted to develop an official policy before deciding whether or not to grant two requests to abandon city-owned alleyways located within the city limits.

At the city’s Jan. 28 meeting, City Manager Taylor Brown brought forward a pair of requests to abandon city-owned alleyways on behalf of County Judge Bill Blue and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
