Elementary school teacher Jerry Webb has been recognized as the Taylor County School District’s “Teacher of the Year” for 2019-20.

“Mr. Webb started his career at Taylor County Elementary School (TCES) as a paraprofessional and has been teaching fourth and fifth grade for six years. He is a dedicated educator who always puts children first. His innovative teaching style is something that is not easily replicated, and we are extremely lucky to have him working in our district, making a difference in the lives of Taylor County’s students,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr. said.
