Chaney files for school board

Daniel O.B. Chaney is the latest local candidate to throw his hat into the 2020 election ring, filing to run for the Taylor County School Board District 5 seat currently held by Deidra Dunnell.

With the exception of the Taylor County Soil & Water Conservation District seats, Dunnell is the only county or city incumbent remaining who has not yet filed to run in 2020 or announced her intention not to seek re-election.
