Bulldogs defeat Dixie, 50-41 to open tourney

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) boys basketball team wrapped up the regular season on a six-game losing streak, but snapped that streak in the quarterfinals of the district tournament by defeating Dixie County, 50-41 this past Monday.

With the win over Dixie County, Taylor advanced to face Madison County last night (Tuesday) in a semifinals match with the opportunity to advance to the district championship game.
