Feds investigate third circuit state attorney’s tenure

According to news reports, a Jacksonville federal grand jury has reportedly been looking into the tenure of former Third Judicial Circuit State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister, who resigned on Dec. 16 citing “a personal matter.”

A Jan. 29 article in the Florida Times-Union reported FBI agents were questioning potential witnesses as part of the grand jury investigation.
