Day of mud bogging ends in violent altercation

A day of mud bogging came to a violent end for two Perry residents Saturday, Feb. 15, at a home on Rich Loam Road, leaving one in handcuffs and the other with a bruised lip, gouged eye and busted face.

Zachary Thomas Cannon, 23, was released without bond Sunday morning after being charged with battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
