Fiddler crabs were king at the 12th annual Fiddler Crab Festival held this past weekend in Steinhatchee.
A record-breaking crowd — 11,000-plus — enjoyed three days of high-energy entertainment, including a parade, fiddler crab races, fireworks, Swamp Water Cook-Off and live entertainment. More than 200 vendors lined the streets, offering a variety of wares that ranged from custom fire pits and aromatic oils to handmade furniture and custom jewelry.
