Steinhatchee boat ramp improvements out for bids

The Taylor County Commission is seeking bids to replace the docks at the Steinhatchee public boat ramp, a project that will mostly be funded through a pair of state grants.

While the county was awarded a Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) during the 2016-17 funding cycle for the project, the county did not receive the actual grant contract until last year.
