Steinhatchee’s First Avenue to be resurfaced

Taylor County will receive more than $2.6 million from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to resurface the 1.9-mile length of First Avenue in Steinhatchee, one of the coastal community’s most utilized roadways.

The project is also expected to rework and extend the existing sidewalk that runs along First Avenue.
