Threca “Terry” Ann Whorton

Threca “Terry” Ann Whorton, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

Terry was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 9, 1959, to Fred and Shirley Cash. 

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Whorton of Perry, and three children, Zach, Natalie and William Whorton, as well as her mother, Shirley Cash of Perry.  Additionally, Terry is survived by several siblings: Darrell Cash, 65, of Boise, Idaho; Sandy Thayer, 65, of Chicago, Ill.; Treva Wilson, 59, of Marysville, Calif.; Ty Cash, 57, of Meridian, Idaho; and Todd Cash, 52, of Lathrop, Cali.  Terry also has four grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Terry was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was a strong woman of faith and a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church of Perry where she taught Sunday School and volunteered for many different duties and activities.

Terry was also a former member of New Home Baptist Church of Perry where she touched many lives and will be remembered fondly.

The Whorton family would like to thank each member of the churches and the community for their prayers and assistance during this difficult time.

Terry’s memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 25, at 11 a.m.  Terry would like any donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
