Leap Year Baby

Can you spot the nine-year-old in this photo? Surprise! It’s not who you think – Leap Year Baby Clint Padgett (right) will celebrate his “ninth” birthday on Saturday, Feb. 29.

“He was due in March, and came a little early. Everyone kept telling me I was going to have a Leap Year Baby, but I just said, ‘No.’ But then Clint was born on Feb. 29, 1984,” Padgett’s mother, Marilyn Bedford, said.

When it’s not a Leap Year, Padgett celebrates his birthday on Feb. 28, a special day he now gets to share with his son, Max, who was born on Feb. 28, 2010.
