Officer suffers heart set-back

Perry Police Department (PPD) Det. Bill Murray suffered a setback as he was preparing to be discharged from the hospital Wednesday following heart transplant surgery two weeks ago.

“The hospital was getting the discharge papers drawn up and they did one last test (sonogram) when they found excess fluid around the heart. This complication (fluid around heart) is not the news we wanted to hear,” Murray’s oldest son, Billy Murray, said.
